About the Role The role involves managing procurement proposals, bids, and contracts for suppliers and vendors. Key responsibilities include coordinating contract preparation, collecting technical and financial data, liaising with technical, finance, and legal teams, documenting performance and service level agreements, and monitoring vendor performance. Key Responsibilities Coordinate preparation of contract and bid documents and obtain appropriate approvals. Collect and analyze technical, financial, and legal information for contract and bid documents. Liaise with technical, finance, and legal teams for review and guidance. Document performance and service level agreements and monitor vendor/supplier performance. Define supplier selection strategy and ensure alignment with project needs. Implement \"CatM\" strategy and manage contract terms such as firm price, escalations, lump‐sum, BOQ, etc. Ensure supply chain management (SCM) scope supports project timelines and quality of deliveries. Identify potential SCM risks, define mitigation actions, and trigger risk reviews when necessary. Align procurement timelines with project needs and expedite delivery of equipment, manufacturing milestones, and FAT dates. Ensure SCM offer and order handling processes are followed by all stakeholders. Coordinate the delivery of all commercial and technical requirements to suppliers. Monitor documentation deliverables and handle SCM issues promptly. Communicate procurement status to project management and act as single point of contact for SCM escalations. Lead SCM project meetings and initiatives such as procurement kick‐off and SCM reviews. Participate in core project team meetings and contribute to business unit reviews. Maintain accurate SCM data in the ERP system and share procurement reports with key stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Qualifications Master's or bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, business administration, or a related discipline. ***** years of professional experience in a project environment for power quality, HVDC substations, renewable energy, and process industries. 10 years of experience in a supply chain function with sourcing of EHV electrical instruments (reactors, cooling systems, transformers, circuit breakers, GIS, etc.) from domestic and international supply bases. Minimum 2 years of procurement experience for tailored equipment. Strong knowledge of commercial/legal aspects of purchasing and experience with capital project business and SAP Project Systems. Proficiency in spoken & written English. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Leadership skills and a drive to create cutting-edge solutions.
