Diesel Mechanic – Technical Lead Brisbane

Overview

We are seeking a current Diesel Technician / Technical Lead that is able to ensure all work carried out is compliant with company standards, while operating in a safe workplace. Along with the ability to work in a cost‐conscious, productive and productive manner at all times.

Candidate Requirements

Service Operations and Leadership

Diagnose and fault‐find repairs in a time‐conscious manner

Follow IVECO procedures for trouble‐shooting and fault‐finding

Communicate effectively with all Service Staff, Head Office and Customers

Correctly identify the 4 C's (Complaint, Cause, Correct and Coverage)

Service and maintain the range of IVECO vehicles in our workshop

Attend breakdowns and repair faults – if required

Solid customer service focus and engaging work approach

Effectively lead workshop staff in daily duties, ensuring all work meets IVECO standards and manufacturer guidelines

Maintain skilled communication with IVECO and customers (e.g., WPA's, THD, goodwill assistance requests)

Walk the workshop floor to ensure all staff are on track and assist where required

Submit all required technical contacts and reports using IVECO THD

Assist with technical phone calls and queries as required

Technical Training

Organise and present training to all staff on new and existing product

Carry out on‐the‐job training with technicians and apprentices

Ensure all staff are trained in the correct procedure for diagnostics

Carry out in‐house training as required

Attend all monthly webinars and report back to workshop important points

Assist apprentices with up‐and‐coming TAFE training

Maintain all diagnostic laptops and equipment for condition and serviceability

Ongoing training both web based and practical
