Healthcare Enterprise Solutions Architect Brisbane

The purpose of this role is to design fit-for-purpose solutions that fully encompass the architectural areas of business, information, application, technology and security domains in alignment with Enterprise Architecture strategies, directives and standards. Most work will focus on/around the state wide integrated electronic Medical Record (ieMR), including build with and interfacing to this application.

Duties of the role:

Ensure system requirements are sufficiently captured to drive the architecting of a solution that fully meets the needs and expectations of system stakeholders.

Identify and assess the implications of applicable client and industry related policies, standards and any other constraints that impact architectural decision-making and ensure these are appropriately reflected in the solution architecture

Evaluate and undertake impact analysis on major architectural options and assess associated risks and issues, ensuring that the solution architecture balances function, service, quality and system management requirements.

Consult, negotiate and communicate with system stakeholders and ICT professionals to promote shared and consistent understanding and acceptance of the proposed solution.

Provide expert advice and communicate solution alternatives, architectural risks, issues and resulting implications.

Develop comprehensive responses, briefs, submissions, presentations and reports to guide the development and implementation of solution architecture.

Promote and ensure that appropriate methods and tools for solution architecture are adopted and used effectively within the project

Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders, including senior program/project executives, facilitating open communication and cooperative working relationships.

Lead the development of solution architectures for complex systems, ensuring consistency with and traceability across specified requirements within enterprise architecture and governance frameworks to ensure fit for purpose solutions
