Trainer & Assessor Brisbane

We're looking for a contract trainer and assessor to join our team. Get Skilled Training is a long running and well-established RTO that prides ourself on delivering quality, relevant, engaging and up to date course content. We provide training to qualified electricians, plumbers and trade's assistants looking to expand their skill-set.

About the Position

You will be responsible for delivering face-to-face training and assessment for students enrolling in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Restricted Electrical and Test and Tag courses nationally.

You will also be responsible for conducting RPL interviews, pre-assessments and working with our course development team to enhance the practical and theory training and assessment resources from the Cert III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

A Certificate III in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning with preferably 5+ years post trade experience, or

A Certificate II in Split Systems Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Systems with preferably 5+ years post trade experience.

A current Unrestricted or Restricted Electrical Licence.

A current Licence with the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC).

A TAE* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or near completion.

Previous experience as a trainer is preferred but not essential.

Willing to travel interstate based on a adaptable rostered calendar – home every week.
