Your role in The Wesley Hospital team As a Psychologist, you will support our Day Rehabilitation and Outpatient services. You will provide one‐to‐one and group‐based programmes for people with a variety of medical and clinical presentations: cancer, chronic pain, neurological, reconditioning, orthopaedic, gender health, and cardio‐respiratory conditions. You will assist your patients to identify and learn coping strategies, tailor and create individual treatment plans. Modalities may include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Qualifications Tertiary Degree in Psychology Current AHPRA registration Australian Working Rights (We are unable to sponsor at this time) Minimum of two years post‐graduate experience Enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team Skills within ACT, CBT and Mindfulness Experience working in individual and group settings Perks Not‐for‐Profit Salary Packaging: Save tax and increase your take‐home pay by salary packaging your everyday living expenses and bills (up to $15,900) and meal entertainment (up to $2,650) per annum.
