Warehouse Assistant Lytton (Brisbane)

Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and store incoming large goods, bulk lubricants and packaged related products. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in accordance with company procedures. Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move stock around the warehouse. Assist with regular inventory checks. Ensure all products are stored in compliance with safety and environmental standards. Assist with general warehouse housekeeping to maintain a clean and organised work area. Load and unload delivery large bulk tanker vehicles as required. Report any safety hazards, incidents, or equipment faults promptly. Selection Criteria Previous experience working in a warehouse workplace, with preference given to candidates experienced in handling lubricants. Current forklift licence and demonstrated ability to operate forklifts safely. Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices. Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling tasks. Good communication skills and a positive attitude. Desirable Attributes Familiarity with inventory management systems. Experience working with hazardous materials or chemicals. Working Conditions This position is based in Lytton and involves shift work, including some early mornings or arvos as required.
