The Chance As a Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer, you'll take on a pivotal leadership role—driving technical excellence, mentoring talent, and building enduring client partnerships. What You'll Do Lead the design and delivery of complex geo-environmental projects across landfill and containment systems, tailings and mining infrastructure, dams, embankments, and earth structures, and waste and resource recovery facilities. Provide trusted technical leadership on high-risk, high-value projects. Drive innovative, sustainable solutions that integrate environmental outcomes into major infrastructure. Oversee project performance (technical, commercial, risk) from concept through to delivery. Build long-term client relationships across Queensland and nationally. Mentor and grow a high-performing, multidisciplinary team. Contribute to strategic growth and market positioning in geo-environmental engineering. About You You're a recognized technical leader who combines deep expertise with commercial awareness and a passion for delivering meaningful outcomes. Degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering. 10+ years' experience, ideally within consulting. Strong background in waste and containment design (landfills, liners, leachate systems, geosynthetics). Proven capability in detailed design and technical review. Experience with earthworks, dams, tailings, and water management systems. Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence key stakeholders.
