Your recent company MEGT is a national not-for-profit organisation supporting employers, apprentices, trainees, jobseekers and students across Australia. With a proud history of impact and recent merger and acquisition activity, MEGT is entering its next stage of growth, integration and commercial sustainability. MEGT is seeking to appoint a contemporary Non‐Executive Director to strengthen the Board's commercial, strategic and governance capability. Your new role The Board is particularly seeking candidates with experience in: Mergers, acquisitions and integration, including post‐merger implementation, operating model change, cultural alignment and value realisation. Commercial / for-profit environments, with strong financial, customer, market and growth orientation. Government relations and stakeholder influence, particularly in policy, funding, contract or regulated environments. Board governance, including risk, performance oversight and constructive challenge. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will be a values‐led, commercially astute leader with sound judgement, collaborative style and a commitment to employment, skills development and social impact. Experience in recruitment, training or labour hire organisations may be complementary but is not the primary focus of this appointment. Candidates based in NSW or QLD are preferred.
