Solution Architect - Property & Rating (Brisbane)

Solution Architect, Property & Rating (P&R;) – We are looking for a skilled Solution Architect with deep Property & Rating expertise to design practical, high-impact customer solutions for local government customers. In this role you will work across the full solution lifecycle—from discovery and requirements through design, build, testing and deployment—to deliver scalable, compliant solutions aligned to council operations. Responsibilities Provide end-to-end solution architecture, design and build for customer-facing solutions using TechnologyOne P&R; and related products. Perform hands‐on configuration and solution build across P&R;, including Requests, Revenue and Compliance. Translate functional and non‐functional requirements into clear, scalable and fit‐for‐purpose solution designs. Contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, including discovery, design, build, testing and deployment. Apply practical P&R; domain expertise across council scenarios such as rating structures, valuations, exemptions and legislative requirements. Translate statutory obligations and local government business requirements into compliant system designs. Design and model current‐state and future‐state P&R; business processes aligned to council operations. Elicit, analyse, document and validate business and functional requirements, maintaining traceability through to delivered outcomes. Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, compliance, auditability and overall solution quality. Contribute to the continuous improvement of solution design approaches, delivery practices and architectural standards. Qualifications Extensive experience in solution architecture within consulting or professional services environments. Deep expertise in the relevant solution domain, ideally Council, TechnologyOne P&R; and customer solution delivery. Strong hands‐on experience translating business needs into practical, scalable and compliant solution designs. Demonstrated understanding of local government P&R; processes, legislation and operating environments. Experience in business process architecture, requirements analysis and solution design. Exposure to BPMN 2.0, UML, TOGAF, BABOK, CBAP or CCBA is highly regarded. Solid stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to work confidently across customer and internal teams.
