This role, reporting to the Mission Systems Software Engineering Manager, will lead a team of Software Engineers and Systems Engineers overseeing the design, development, testing, and integration of software for the MQ-28 Mission Segment software for the MQ28 program. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback. Oversee the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing and deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, hardware engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of software components. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software development efficiency, productivity and quality. Participate in Agile Planning Events and day to day oversight and execution of the SCRUM teams. Oversee the Software Development activities in accordance to the Boeing EMS and approved program plans. Actively engage with your team and support them on their career journey identifying progression and development opportunities. Essential Experience & Qualifications Excellent communicator who can engage a diverse team and stakeholder group. Experience in leading and project managing Software Engineering or Information Technology teams. Familiar with Agile Software Development Practices and SCRUM Master role. Experience with security governance, compliance and risk or working in classified environments and with security-controlled material. Personable and dedicated to the growth, development and success of your team. An Australian Defence Security clearance up to NV1 and meet the requirements of various Export licences in use across the Business.
