Our division employs an integrated operating model, where we appoint account managers for our clients to help manage their projects. But we're also a adaptable bunch, able to draw on our collective resources to respond to client needs and changing priorities. Director – Strategy, Communications and Media As the Director you will: Provide oversight and lead a team delivering high impact, strategic communications plans across a broad and complex portfolio of Government. Provide strategic advice to the ED, Strategic Communications, DDG, DG, ELT and other senior stakeholders. Oversee a media function and the accompanying high volume of interactions between that function and significant stakeholders. Undertake strategic assessment of content, media and other communication opportunities to build DSDI's reputation and brand. Establish and maintain strategic relationships with key department staff, broader government and industry stakeholders including Ministerial Media Advisors, senior departmental communication officers and senior industry representatives. Foster a culture where high‐performing, thriving staff deliver quality, insight‐based, impactful work. Proactively facilitate whole‐of‐communications team collaborations to achieve successful delivery of strategic outcomes.
