Chef De Partie Brisbane

We have an exciting chance for a Chef de Partie to join our creative culinary brigade and cook up a storm! They will work in our hotels to make travel more human and sustainable. The Role Assist the Executive Chef with creating and executing menus with a local seasonal twist. Organise and set up the assigned kitchen section to maximise efficiency and productivity while maintaining Hyatt Brand standards. Ensure all guest‐contact culinary associates deliver the brand promise and exceptional guest service. Create special menus, suggest alternatives, meet specific customer requests and interact with customers to exceed culinary expectations. Assist in monitoring kitchen operating costs and stock control and take corrective action when necessary. Ensure compliance with HCAAP standards and WHS policies and procedures. The Person Cert III or higher in Commercial Cookery and a la carte experience. Previous experience in a 5‐star hotel setting preferred. Passion, creativity, and desire to work with the team to lead the culinary brigade. Availability to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Solid verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Naturally curious, driven, willing to try recent things and ready to grow their professional career.
