Responsibilities Use your mastery of cooking to plan an interesting and exciting menu for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old. Prepare a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, and adapt to dietary requirements for babies and children. Manage the kitchen autonomously, ensuring effective stock rotation, budgeting and shopping. Maintain the highest level of food safety and supervision in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards. Mentor and guide a kitchen hand in a qualified environment to deliver the highest quality of food and service. Provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside our educators for our littlest learners. Qualifications A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery. A current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon commencement). A current State relevant Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain). Current Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain). Current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid certificates (or willingness to obtain). National Police Clearance obtained in the last six months (or willingness to obtain). Extraordinary verbal, written and time‐management skills. Availability to work five days a week.
