Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer Make a real impact. We are looking for a proactive Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to join a collaborative team delivering innovative, safe projects across mining, hydrocarbon, water infrastructure and material handling sectors, with a strong focus on high‐density instrumentation and process plant design. You will be responsible for: Design exposure to LV and HV distribution system design including motor control centres and switchboards PLC and remote IO control system design Material handling and process plant instrumentation design Layout design including cable routing, equipment layouts, substation layouts, etc. Exposure to open‐pit and underground mining electrical infrastructure design HV and LV power system modelling and protection design (preferred) Qualifications and experience include: Relevant (8+ years) and current Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering experience Must have RPEQ registration Experience in PTW and eTap is preferred but not essential Experience working in mining, oil and gas, water and infrastructure sectors Experience generating study reports, scopes of work, equipment specifications and datasheets Experience generating engineering estimates and quotations Robust focus on safety in design Ability to work independently on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines Ability to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to Verbrec and client standards Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams Degree or equivalent experience/qualifications mandatory (Electrical, Instrument and Control or Mechatronics) We are a light, agile environment that values creativity and innovation.
