Senior Ecologist (Brisbane)

We are a leading global environmental solutions company partnering with organisations to solve complex challenges where environmental pressures, regulatory expectations and operational risks intersect. We are seeking a Senior Ecologist, ideally specialising in botany, to join our Ecology team. The role will be based in one of our thriving Brisbane or Sydney offices. Responsibilities Successfully manage projects within budget and delivered on time Represent clients and facilitate external meetings Identify when team members need support and provide them with the tools for success Conduct flora and fauna surveys on complex projects Deliver well‐written reports Mentor junior team members Qualifications 5+ years relevant consulting experience in planning and delivering ecological studies for the resources and infrastructure sectors of Queensland and/or New South Wales Tertiary qualification from a recognised institute in Ecology, Environmental Science, Environmental Management or similar disciplines Strong knowledge and experience conducting flora and fauna surveys Experience with GIS desktop software such as ESRI, ArcGIS or QGIS and data collection packages ArcGIS Fieldmap and Survey123 We are an equal chance employer and encourage applications from people of all backgrounds.
