Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a renowned M&E contractor who provides Mechanical, Electrical, Data, HVAC-R and Building Services solutions to Tier 1&2 clients around QLD. Typically across health, education, defence, aged care and energy with a much bigger portfolio behind the scenes. With an in-house design team, this client takes on projects from day 1 to carry them through to commissioning whilst also having an established maintenance team. With multiple offices across SEQ coupled with continuous growth over the years, this client is now looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Estimator– HVAC to join the growing team based in their Brisbane office.The Role

Reporting directly to the Pre-Contracts Manager, this newly created role is pivotal for the business as they move to their next phase of growth. This role will see you take ownership of all estimates across the mechanical arm of the business, building competitive end to end tenders. This isn’t your usual “estimator’ role, you will have trust, autonomy and support from the broader business including an inhouse engineering team and engaged delivery team. You will be given the opportunity to implement and improve if there is a better way. Strong focus on D&C projects. This role will suit a proven Senior Estimator with experience within the Mechanical and HVAC space delivering Tier 1/2 commercial, residential and industrial projects. You will get to work in an organisation that puts its people first, with a no DH policy on the front door (feel free to ask further).The Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred not essential) Previous experience tendering projects across health, education, hospitality, residential, defence and commercial sectors. A self starter who has a grasp on the industry. The Why
