Based at their Brisbane HQ (Geebung), this is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing finance team that operates at both a local and global level. The Prospect Reporting to the Business Manager, the Financial Accountant will take full ownership of the accounting cycle across designated entities, working collaboratively with a global finance team to support the Australian market. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role suited to a detail-oriented professional who thrives managing high-volume transactional work and contributing to process improvement in a growing, dynamic business. Key Responsibilities Own the trial balance and month-end close for designated entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting Work across multiple entities and currencies, maintaining financial integrity across the global group Process Accounts Payable, including corporate credit cards, and prepare transactions for approval Monitor and manage aged receivables, including monthly reporting Consolidate and review weekly cash flow forecasts to support strong liquidity oversight Prepare and lodge required tax reports and set up payments for approval Liaise with the global finance team on audit queries, accruals, and reporting requirements Manage interest calculations, payments, and rollover requirements as part of budgeting activities Maintain fixed asset registers, including depreciation schedules Support the operations team with financial analysis and accounting advice for the franchise network Identify opportunities to strengthen processes, improve efficiency, and enhance financial controls What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience Intermediate experience in business accounting Strong knowledge of the complete accounting cycle Experience with intercompany eliminations and multi-currency environments Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in accounting systems Knowledge of Microsoft Business Central 365 — highly regarded Experience in franchising — an advantage Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume transactional work How to Apply If you are a motivated accounting professional ready to step into a broad, impactful role with a globally connected organisation, we'd love to hear from you.
