An exciting prospect exists to join the leadership team at Dakabin State High School as the Head of Department
- Health and Physical Education for a period of three terms, unless otherwise determined. About the Role As Head of Department
- Health and Physical Education you will provide strategic leadership in curriculum development, teaching and learning, staff mentoring, and student engagement while promoting inclusive practices and supportive educational outcomes for students. Responsibilities
- Lead the Health and Physical Education (HPE) department, including curriculum leadership, staff support, faculty planning and the implementation of whole-school priorities.
- Support high-quality teaching and learning practices within the HPE faculty through collaboration, coaching and curriculum development.
- Work collaboratively with students, families, staff and external stakeholders to support positive student outcomes, engagement and wellbeing.
- Contribute to whole-school improvement priorities and foster a positive, inclusive and supportive school culture. Application Process
