Forget sitting on the sidelines – you’ll be contributing from day one. As soon as you commence as our Data & Analytics Graduate, you’ll be doing purpose‑driven work on real infrastructure that our communities depend on every day. Think six‑month rotations across diverse teams, a group innovation project with actual senior backing, and mentoring from people who genuinely want to see you grow. Two years of structured experience designed to fast‑track your career in one of the most essential industries in the country. At the end of the program, you’ll transition into a permanent full‑time position. Not bad for your first job out of uni. Responsibilities
- Explore how Unitywater’s Business Planning and Performance team builds tools, automates processes and turns data into insights that shape real business outcomes.
- Learn how we deliver and optimise technology solutions, safeguard data integrity and availability, and manage the performance of technology partnerships across a live utility environment.
- Feature comprehensive training, qualified growth opportunities, mentoring and competitive remuneration and benefits.
- Gain valuable hands‑on experience and exposure across a variety of teams, including business planning & performance, technology and digital solutions, and change and transformation. Sharpen your skills and explore where your future could take you! Qualifications
- Open to graduates with a bachelor’s degree in data science, Information Technology or a related field with a major or focus in Data Analytics.
- Exposure to coding, whether through platforms, datasets, or just tinkering with tools to automate decisions or solve problems.
- Strong written communication, teamwork and collaboration capability.
- Demonstrated digital literacy skills, including the ability to use workplace technologies, digital communication tools, and AI tools effectively and responsibly.
- Customer focus and a positive and proactive approach to interacting with our community.
- Understanding of and commitment to safe behaviours that keep our workplace healthy.
- Strong time management, multi‑tasking, investigative, analytical and research skills.
- Drive to achieve development goals, plans and work across a variety of systems and projects to achieve team outcomes.
