The Company This Australian-owned and family-operated freight forwarding business has built a strong reputation over more than two decades within the logistics industry. Specialising in air freight, sea freight and project cargo solutions across domestic and international markets, they are known for delivering high levels of customer service and tailored logistics support. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their operations team with the addition of an experienced Freight Forwarder.

The Role In this role you will be responsible for managing end-to-end sea and air import operations, ensuring cargo movements are handled efficiently, compliantly and to a high customer service standard. You will liaise with shipping lines, transport providers, customs brokers and clients to coordinate shipments and resolve operational issues as required. This role would suit an experienced Freight Forwarder with strong import knowledge who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while building strong relationships with both customers and logistics partners. The business also offers a flexible hybrid arrangement with up to two days working from home.

Duties:
• Manage end-to-end sea and air import operations
• Liaise with shipping lines, transport providers and customs brokers
• Coordinate cargo movements and shipment tracking
• Prepare invoicing, documentation and cargo reporting
• Ensure compliance with freight forwarding and import regulations

Requirements:
• Experience within freight forwarding or international logisitcs environment
• Proficiency using CargoWise or similar freight systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Full unrestricted Australian working rights
