- ITSM & Low-Code Platforms SaaS Platforms Full-time | Brisbane CBD (in-office role) | Consulting, technology and business process We are looking for a consultant who combines a genuine affinity for technology with solid business understanding, maturity, and excellent people skills. This is not a software development role. It is a hands-on consulting role where you will work directly with customers to understand how their organisation operates, identify business and process challenges, and configure modern ITSM and low-code SaaS platforms to solve real problems. The ideal person may come from an IT consulting, technology training, IT management, systems administration, service desk leadership, business systems, or SaaS implementation background. You may not have been called a “consultant” before, but you will have spent time helping people understand systems, improve processes, solve operational problems, and get better value from technology. This role is well suited to someone who has developed sound judgement, confidence with business stakeholders, and the ability to explain technology in a clear, practical and commercially sensible way. The role is based in our Brisbane CBD office. We believe strong consulting teams are built through collaboration, shared learning, mentoring, and being present with each other, particularly as we continue to grow our consulting capability. Applicants must be Australian permanent residents or citizens with valid work authorisation to be considered for this position. What you’ll do As part of our consulting team, you will:
- Work directly with customers to understand their processes, challenges, and goals
- Translate business requirements into practical ITSM and service management solutions
- Configure workflows, forms, automation, reporting, and service catalogues using low-code SaaS platforms
- Help customers improve how their teams manage work, requests, incidents, assets, approvals, and service delivery
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with business and technical stakeholders
- Challenge assumptions constructively and recommend better ways of working
- Contribute to end-to-end customer implementations as part of a collaborative consulting team
- Build trusted relationships through clear, confident and professional communication What you bring You bring a strong mix of business judgement, technical curiosity, practical problem-solving ability, and interpersonal confidence. You will ideally have experience in one or more of the following backgrounds:
- IT consulting or SaaS implementation
- Technology training or customer enablement
- IT management or service delivery leadership
- Systems Administration or Application Administration
- Service Desk leadership or IT operations
- Business systems, process improvement, or workflow design You will also bring:
- Several years’ experience working with technology in a business environment
- A strong understanding of how organisations operate beyond just “the system”
- Confidence dealing with customers, managers, and business stakeholders
- The ability to explain technical concepts in plain, business-friendly language
- Strong listening, questioning, documentation, and facilitation skills
- Experience configuring, administering, or implementing SaaS platforms
- A practical understanding of workflows, structured data, reporting, and business processes
- A calm, professional and mature approach to problem solving
- A willingness to learn new platforms and develop into a high-quality consultant Experience with ITSM platforms such as Halo, ServiceNow, Ivanti, Jira Service Management, Freshservice or similar platforms is highly regarded, but not essential. ITIL knowledge is beneficial, but mindset, judgement, communication and delivery capability are more important than certifications.
