About You
- Located in or near Pinkenba
- Tertiary qualification in Building or Business, or Trade Qualification
- Minimum 5 years experience in the Building and Construction sector (preferably within a contracting environment)
- Intermediate computer literacy including SAP and Excel
- Ability to work from the Pinkenba site full time – This is not a Work from Home Role
- Ability and willingness to travel What you will need to join us

- Valid Police Check
- Valid driver’s license

- $135,000 base salary + super + incentive

- Free onsite Physio About the Role As a Contracting Area Manager, you will have the responsibility of the management and profitability of the supply and fix function, with particular focus on Safety, Quality, Technical Compliance and customer relationship development. Some tasks as part of this role include:
- Ensure HSE compliance & team leadership.
- Attract new business to achieve budgeted financial outcomes and volume and revenue growth year on year.
- Lead, induct, train and maintain an appropriately sized team of plastering and maintenance sub-contractors with a strong focus on industry leading standards of safety and quality on site.
- Manage project expenditure, reviewing and processing all subcontractor claims and creditor invoices.
- Ensure business compliance to relevant governance requirements.
- Build high performing engaged team with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
