- $4904.00 || Job duration | || Contact person | Ed Zappert || Contact details | Phone: 3031 5770 Access the National Relay Service |The Lawyer is responsible for providing legal advice, managing matters requiring substantial professional judgement and developing long term client partnerships in the WorkCover team.**Key responsibilities:*** Managing litigation under Queensland's workers' compensation framework, including the defence of claims from the service of a notice of claim for damages, through the pre-court process and if necessary, through litigation up to and including trials and appeals.* Providing high-quality advice on liability, indemnity, quantum, and settlement.* Conducting advocacy or instructing counsel to conduct advocacy in conferences and mediation and in courts and tribunals, including originating and interlocutory applications, trials and appeals.* Providing strategic risk management and dispute resolution advice.* Advising on complex claims involving asbestos, psychological injury, or third party indemnity disputes.**Why Join Crown Law?**Crown Law offers a career that is rewarding, engaging and supportive of your work life balance.
