About The Role The Psychosocial Safety & Return to Work Advisor is a permanent full‑time role based at our Clayfield Support Office. This newly created role combines psychosocial risk management, workplace wellbeing, and return‑to‑work coordination into a specialised advisory function supporting leaders and employees across the Group. Working closely with People & Culture, WHS, operational leaders, insurers, and external providers, you will contribute to strengthening psychological safety, improving wellbeing outcomes, and supporting a protected and sustainable workforce. This role offers the opportunity to develop frameworks, shape practices, and contribute to a positive and psychologically safe workplace culture across a growing national healthcare organisation. In This Role, You Will
- Identify and support the management of psychosocial hazards across the organisation
- Coordinate safe and sustainable return‑to‑work plans for physical and psychological injuries
- Provide early intervention and confidential wellbeing support to employees
- Support leaders in managing psychosocial risks and sensitive workforce matters
- Analyse wellbeing and RTW data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Develop psychosocial safety frameworks, policies, and wellbeing initiatives
- Deliver education and awareness activities across the organisation
- Support responses following critical or high‑stress incidents
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve wellbeing outcomesSupport compliance with WHS legislation and psychosocial safety frameworks What You Will Bring
- Experience in psychosocial safety, workplace wellbeing, WHS, return‑to‑work coordination, or injury management
- Understanding of WHS legislation and psychosocial risk management principles
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism and empathy
- Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to coach and support leaders through complex employee wellbeing matters
- Experience analysing data, identifying trends, and contributing to reporting and improvement initiatives
- Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to translate legislation, frameworks, and wellbeing concepts into practical workplace solutions
