Key Responsibilities
- Strengthen governance and accountability of Aurecon’s RAP through action tracking, reporting, and administrative support for the RAP Leadership Team and RAP Working Group meetings.
- Lead visible moments of connection and cultural learning within Aurecon, including coordinating recognition of National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week.
- Provide cultural safety guidance and lived‑experience input to reduce barriers and ensure inclusive pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples across Aurecon’s business.
- Foster meaningful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander employees, ensuring their voices are represented and respected.
- Support strengthening procurement and workforce foundations, including enhancing engagement and relationships with First Nations suppliers and champion the respectful handling of personal data and Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP).
- Provide approved RAP and reconciliation content for bids and proposals, supporting Aurecon’s client credibility and strategic positioning. What We’re Looking For
- Passion for reconciliation and a strong commitment to elevating First Nations voices through respectful engagement.
- Strong relationship‑building skills and confidence working with diverse stakeholders.
- Well‑developed organisation, planning, and follow‑through skills.
- Initiative, curiosity, and problem‑solving ability.
- Experience working in or alongside reconciliation, inclusion, First Nations engagement, community development or related fields.
- Experience coordinating programs, governance processes, or supporting people (including recruitment), engagement, or change initiatives (highly regarded).
