The Role This position is designed for an engineer with 1-2 years of experience – someone who has moved past the 'Associate' level and is looking for more autonomy and technical complexity. You will be a "technical linchpin" within the group, contributing to scientific programming, DevOps tasks, and the maintenance of mission‑critical information systems. Key Responsibilities
- Full Stack Development: Build and secure front‑ and back‑end applications using modern best practices.
- Scientific Programming: Support the division by undertaking specialised programming and data‑focused tasks.
- Cloud & DevOps: Manage and deploy services within Microsoft Azure and support CI/CD workflows.
- Technical Advisory: Provide high‑quality technical advice to the broader team to promote best practice methodologies.
- System Stewardship: Ensure the continuous operation and performance of high‑profile information systems.
- Collaboration: Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to translate complex requirements into elegant code.
