Project Manager
- National Commercial Projects Brisbane Based | National Travel | Projects up to $4M

I'll be honest, this role isn't for someone who just wants to sit behind a laptop updating project trackers all day.

This company needs someone who genuinely enjoys running projects, solving problems, managing people, and taking ownership from start to finish. Someone commercially minded who understands how projects actually operate on-site and how to keep clients happy while still protecting margins and timelines.

The business delivers commercial projects nationally across roofing, façades, remediation, construction maintenance, and building asset upgrades. A lot of the work is technically detailed, quick-moving, and requires someone who can confidently manage contractors, programs, budgets, and stakeholder expectations all at once.

Projects range from roughly $500K through to $4M and will involve travel across Australia to oversee delivery.

The role:
- Managing multiple commercial projects nationally
- Overseeing delivery from planning through to completion
- Managing project budgets, forecasting, variations, and reporting
- Running procurement and subcontractor coordination
- Working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams
- Conducting site visits and ensuring projects stay on track
- Managing timelines, risks, quality, and compliance requirements
- Building strong long-term client relationships

What's key for this role: They really need someone with strong Project Management experience, particularly on the commercial side. This could absolutely suit someone from a roofing, cladding, tiling, façade, remedial, or commercial construction background who has naturally progressed into Project Management and understands:
- Contract administration
- Budget management
- Variations and forecasting
- Client communication
- Subcontractor management
- Delivering projects without things blowing out commercially

They're less concerned about someone having a perfect textbook background and more interested in someone who knows how to run projects properly, communicate well, and take ownership.

What they're looking for:
- Proven experience delivering commercial construction or building projects
- Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Comfortable travelling nationally when required
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills
- Experience using systems such as SimPro or similar platforms
- Someone proactive, organised, and solutions-focused
