Your Role As Centre Cook, you’ll play a key role in creating a nurturing, healthy environment through food. You will:
- Plan and prepare nutritious, seasonal meals and snacks
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well‑stocked kitchen
- Order supplies and manage inventory
- Communicate with educators to meet dietary needs
- Support the centre’s mealtime routines and assist where needed
- Be open to learning more about nutrition for different age groups, especially infants
- Hours 6:15am to 2:15pm Monday to Friday (open to discuss alternative hours for the right candidate. About Graceville Opening in 2026, Harmony Graceville will be a purpose‑built centre catering for up to 126 children (birth–5 years). Located at 293 Honour Avenue, the centre will operate 6:30am – 6:30pm, offering a welcoming and inspiring environment for children, families, and educators alike. About You You are passionate about creating food with purpose and care. You have:
- A Food Safety Handling Certificate
- Strong knowledge of dietary requirements and allergy management
- A practical understanding of food budgeting and planning
- Cooking experience in early childhood settings (desirable but not essential)
