Job Summary Full‑time, fixed‑term position for up to 12 months. Base salary $95k – $102k + 17% super (HEW Level6). The Clinical Coordinator will be based at The University of Queensland and will support the A‑START (Adapted Sports Training and Research Team) by coordinating and delivering clinically‑informed sport and physical activity programs for people with a wide range of diagnoses, support needs and functional abilities. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating and delivering sport and physical activity programs, including assessment, design, delivery and reporting.
- Supporting research activities—recording clinical and outcome data, both qualitative and quantitative, ensuring accurate and secure data for analysis and reporting.
- Assisting with ethics submissions, study documentation, participant management and clinical reporting.
- Delivering protected, engaging, clinically‑informed sessions for participants with diverse support needs.
- Maintaining accurate clinical and research data in line with ethical and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with participants, families, support workers, clinicians, students and researchers.
- Ensuring clear, timely communications within the team and with all parties to support efficient program delivery.
- Supporting recruitment activities, participant engagement and trial coordination.
- Mentoring junior staff and students within the A‑START research workplace. Qualifications & Experience
- Completed degree‑level qualification in Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
- Current accreditation or registration with the relevant allied health professional body.
- Experience working with people across the lifespan and across a wide range of diagnostic groups and support needs, including severe impairments and high support needs.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical program delivery, leadership and citizenship, with strong skills in managing and delivering clinical sessions.
- Proven ability to work effectively within multi‑professional and research team environments.
- Well‑developed written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting and editing research protocols and reports.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, managing competing priorities and meeting project timelines.
- Strong record of reliability, attention to detail and commitment to high ethical standards and confidentiality.
- Unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of the appointment. Benefits
