About the client Our client provides a comprehensive assessment, treatment, and assertive outreach support for individuals with moderate to severe mental health needs. As part of a multidisciplinary care team, you will contribute to a holistic, client centred model of care, integrating with regional health teams to ensure timely and appropriate care, including inpatient support when necessary. Role Overview As a Counsellor, you will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, assisting clients with gambling and financial support. This position can be based in either Windsor, Gold Coast, Deception Bay or Redcliffe. You will be required to travel to different offices to provide support where a company car will be available to you to book in advance. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive and thorough assessments of clients.
- Provide case management support.
- Apply your advanced specialist knowledge in gambling and financial support through assessments and decision making. Mandatory Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Mental Health Nurse with AHPRA registration or
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy with AHPRA registration or
- Bachelor of Social Work with AASW registration or
- Bachelor of Counselling with PACFA or ACA registration
- Willingness to undergo a Criminal History Check.
- Current C-Class Driver's License.
- Demonstrated high-level verbal and written communication skills.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role. What We Offer
