About the Role A new opportunity is available for a diligent and experienced Educator and Facilitator to support our Residential Aged Care (RAC) home as a Workplace Educator. You will identify and manage education, training and compliance needs and facilitate training across all areas of home operations, including clinical, hospitality, laundry, cleaning and more, supporting home compliance and developing colleagues to enhance knowledge, skills, and performance of our residential aged care teams. Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and deliver ongoing education and training to all employees, supporting compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
- Develop training calendars and plans aligning with maintaining high compliance levels
- Coordinate and deliver induction and onboarding programmes for new employees
- Conduct training needs analysis (TNA) to identify gaps and develop learning plans
- Support and mentor staff, fostering a positive and team-oriented learning environment
- Utilise blended learning methods and adult learning principles to maximise engagement and competency
- Monitor and report on compliance with training and onboarding plans, escalating issues as required
- Collaborate with managers, HR, and clinical teams to ensure training aligns with organisational needs Qualifications
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Registered Nurse (AHPRA registration)
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating/ delivering education and training programmes – ideally within residential aged care
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety, Aged Care Legislation and Quality Standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to support other homes in times of need and obtain a police check
- Driver's licence and vehicle preferred – travel reimbursed; parking available Benefits
