About your roleAs an Allied Health Assistant, you will work under the supervision and direction of allied health professionals to support the delivery of patient care across a range of clinical settings.In this role, you will:Assist with individual and group therapy programs as delegated by allied health professionalsSupport patients with personal care, manual handling and transportPrepare, monitor and maintain therapy equipment and clinical resourcesContribute to patient documentation in line with organisational requirementsAbout youYou are a compassionate and team-focused individual who enjoys supporting patients and working collaboratively in a healthcare setting.You will demonstrate:The ability to provide patient interventions under the direction of allied health professionalsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA collaborative approach and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamFlexibility to work weekends and across a range of healthcare settingsThis role is being filled using a targeted recruitment process.
