About The Role We are currently seeking a highly motivated Head of Department – Curriculum to lead and support the continued growth of this key portfolio within the College. This role requires a solid, student-centred leader who aligns with our philosophy and approach to education. Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a strategic portfolio for QPSC Online/Outreach, aligned with the College's improvement agenda and strategic priorities.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with partner schools and external stakeholders to ensure smooth referral, engagement, and transition processes.
- Work in partnership with the Principal and HoC VET to ensure compliance with departmental and college policies and procedures.
- Support and mentor online teaching staff, promoting high-quality teaching and learning practices that drive improved student outcomes.
- Contribute to college-wide leadership and planning as part of the QPSC leadership team. Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in leading a highly effective team.
- Understanding of the Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) system and Vocational Education.
- Experience leading and implementing whole school strategic plans.
