About the role Your main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate the day‑to‑day activities of the Talent Attraction and Engagement team, supporting delivery against program objectives and KPIs.
- Provide guidance and act as the first point of escalation for team members, working closely with the Program Manager.
- Conduct outbound and inbound candidate engagement across phone, digital and face‑to‑face channels.
- Build relationships with targeted candidate cohorts including ADF veterans, skilled industry professionals, career changers and parents returning to the workforce.
- Support candidates with information on teaching pathways, eligibility requirements, study options and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
- Develop and refine outreach strategies, engagement scripts and candidate attraction approaches.
- Maintain oversight of candidate pipelines, engagement activity and reporting outcomes.
- Engage with registered training organisations, industry stakeholders and community groups to support talent identification and workforce pathways.

- Experience in leading a team within a recruitment, talent acquisition, business development or a related field.
- Robust community engagement and relationship management skills, with the ability to build connections across industry and regional communities.
- Ability to engage confidently with diverse candidate groups, including career changers, industry professionals and ADF veterans.
- Strong communication and candidate support skills, including the ability to explain career pathways, training options and eligibility requirements.
- Experience managing candidate enquiries and maintaining accurate records in a fast‑paced environment.
- Experience within the vocational education and training (VET) sector, or working with target candidate cohorts, is highly regarded but not essential.
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency or a visa permitting work in Australia.
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence.
