Overview Project Manager, IT – responsible for delivering major technology and business transformation projects across dnata catering & retail’s Australian operations. Will act as a trusted project lead, partnering with operational teams, People & Culture, Finance, and vendors to achieve high‑quality outcomes. A key focus is the end‑to‑end delivery of an HRIS from design and build through to testing, implementation, and adoption, while managing risk, ensuring strong governance, and supporting a smooth transition. Location: Gold Coast or Brisbane. Key Responsibilities
- Lead full project lifecycle delivery, from planning to implementation and benefits realisation.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets and resources.
- Monitor progress and manage risks, issues, dependencies and change requests.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, regulatory and business requirements.
- Provide transparent project reporting to stakeholders and senior leaders.
- Partner with business owners to understand requirements and maintain alignment.
- Facilitate workshops, steering committees and project forums.
- Lead cross‑functional teams and coordinate analysts, technical leads and contributors.
- Manage third‑party vendors and implementation partners.
- Support change management and training to drive user adoption. About You
- Demonstrated experience delivering IT projects end‑to‑end.
- Strong capability in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and risk management.
- Experience leading cross‑functional teams and managing vendors.
- Proven track record delivering projects on time, within scope and within budget.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Exposure to change management and training practices.
- Experience in catering, aviation, manufacturing or hospitality (desirable).
- Relevant project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2). Additional Requirements
