Join a leading global law firm and play a key role in supporting the growth and success of our Real Estate and Finance practice. As a Business Development Consultant, you will work closely with partners, lawyers and business services teams to drive strategic initiatives, strengthen client relationships and contribute to winning recent work across Australia. What you'll do:
- Support partners and lawyers in winning work by preparing and managing high-quality pitches, bids and client-facing materials.
- Project manage and maintain business development infrastructure, including credentials, pitches and submissions.
- Collaborate nationally and globally to deliver on work-winning initiatives and respond to BD requests.
- Lead the preparation of directory and awards submissions, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Partner with Marketing, Communications and Events teams to deliver campaigns, thought leadership and events.
- Provide research, reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making and client engagement. What you'll bring:
- 3-5 years’ experience in a business development role, ideally with strong pitching and written content experience.
- Demonstrated project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Robust commercial awareness and the ability to quickly understand Real Estate and Finance markets and practice areas.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
- A degree in marketing, commerce, business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
