The Role We have an opportunity for a Business Services Accountant to join our well‑established team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you'll provide outstanding service to a wide and diverse client base who will come to trust and value you as an integral business adviser. The responsibilities of the role include:
- Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
- Preparation of BAS/IAS
- Preparation of budgets and cashflows
- Email support to clients
- Liaise with the ATO and other regulatory bodies To be successful in this role you will have:
- 2+ years’ experience within Australian Public Practice
- A degree in Business or Commerce with a major in Accounting
- CA/CPA or desire to commence
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Results driven, with ability to plan and coordinate workload to meet (and exceed) deadlines and targets
- Commitment to championing a progressive, innovative, and positive work workplace
- Ability to present solutions not problems
- Desire to continuously improve your technical knowledge and ability
