Assessor / Estimator Insurance Repairs Brisbane

About the Role As an Assessor at ABC Group, you will be responsible for estimating insurance repairs for residential buildings across South Brisbane/Ipswich. The role requires an experienced builder with knowledge in Assessing or Estimating, who wants a new challenge or to take the next step in their career. Responsibilities
- Travelling to site or utilising our desktop assessment tool (Virtual Assistant) to assess property damage
- Providing timely and accurate building assessment reports and quotes for residential insurance claims
- Review specialist reports determining causation and accurate application of policy liability
- Communicating effectively with stakeholders
- Actively celebrating the success of our team! Requirements
- Ability to conduct building assessments of damage, and in turn provide accurate reports, scope of works documents and tender quotes to perform repairs
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High attention to detail with experience quoting in the residential construction space
- Previous trade experience required and QBCC Licence preferred
- Previous experience in the insurance repairs industry will be highly regarded
- Intermediate-level computer literacy (previous experience using estimating / project management software is a bonus!)
- Solid understanding of building regulations, codes and OHS standards Perks
