About the Role
ALT Formwork One is seeking an experienced and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. This role involves a broad range of carpentry duties across residential, commercial, and civil construction projects, with a strong focus on structural and concrete-related works.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment across multiple sites, contributing to high-quality construction outcomes while maintaining strict safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from timber, plywood, steel, and other materials
• Interpret and work from architectural drawings, plans, and specifications
• Carry out formwork carpentry where required, including suspended slabs, columns, walls, and stair structures
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision
• Install frameworks, partitions, floors, and roofing systems
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with building codes and safety regulations
• Inspect and maintain tools and equipment
• Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure project timelines are met
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites

Requirements
• Proven experience as a Carpenter in construction (formwork experience highly regarded)
• Relevant education/trade certificate referred but not essential
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety standards
• High attention to detail and workmanship
• Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor environments
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and within a team
