About the Role We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead a team of Design documenters and drive project delivery across our diverse building portfolio. Reporting into senior leadership, you'll oversee day‑to‑day team operations across multiple regions — managing priorities, resource allocation, reviewing documentation for technical accuracy and ensuring design outputs meet project specifications, building codes and company standards. You'll work closely with estimating, steel and sales teams throughout the project lifecycle, contributing to project reviews, identifying risks and spotting value‑add opportunities. This is a hands‑on leadership role where you'll set the standard for quality, establish workflows, drive continuous improvement and mentor team leaders to get the best out of their people. About You
- Proven experience managing design teams within a head contractor or commercial construction setting;
- Strong working knowledge of building codes, regulatory standards, good building practice and commercial construction documentation;
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without dropping the ball on quality or compliance;
- Confidence engaging with internal stakeholders, clients and external consultants;
- A track record of developing people and building high‑performing teams; and
