Description Summary Telecommunication Worker will form part of the Field Delivery Team, working as part of a team or as an individual contributor at times, to construct, maintain and decommission telecommunications networks. About the Role Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time Location: Banyo, QLD Reporting Line: State Field Delivery Manager Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a number of skilled or unskilled labourers as Telecommunication workers to join our growing company. As part of this role, if not already obtained, you will gain experience and competencies including but not limited to:
- Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (Boom Length 11 Metres or More) (WP)
- Working safely at Heights
- Working safely near live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker
- Implement traffic management plan
- Provide First Aid
- Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Key Responsibilities In this role you will be primarily responsible for building, maintaining, and decommissioning telecommunication networks, including but not limited to Optus, Uecomm, NBN, Telstra, TPG, Telco authorities and power utility. You will also be responsible for the following:
- Work onsite/in field as part of one or multiple crews daily
- Work from ladders & EWP’s (Elevated Work Platform)
- Willing and able to be part of a rostered on-call availability, including working outside normal working hours on a regular basis
- Willing and able to work away from home from time to time
- Communicate/report on scheduled work changes or to Field Supervisor
- Participate in actual site start-up (i.e., mandatory pre-start activities)
- Work in coordination with related 3rd parties such as landowners and regulatory authorities (e.g., power utility, council & transport) #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/3qgciv
