We’re now seeking a Manager – Claims Delivery to play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering high‑quality group life insurance outcomes for our members. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across claims delivery and related insurance operations. You’ll lead and mentor team leaders and their teams, ensuring timely, compliant, and compassionate service while driving continuous improvement across our group life offering. This is a pivotal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of people leadership, operational excellence, and member advocacy—and who wants to make a meaningful impact at scale. Your responsibilities
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned to ART Life’s goals.
- Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and digital readiness.
- Champion simplified, member‑first insurance experiences.
- Lead, mentor and empower Team Leaders across claims, administration, and member servicing.
- Attend Trustee Service meetings to provide insights on claims performance and service metrics.
- Ensure compliance with APRA, ASIC, AFCA and the Life Insurance Code of Practice.
- Oversee risk identification, incident management and audit support activities. This role is available as either a permanent or fixed‑term/secondment opportunity. About you This is a high‑impact role suited to a collaborative, forward‑thinking leader who thrives in a regulated environment and is committed to continuous improvement.
- Strong experience in insurance operations, ideally in group life or superannuation‑linked insurance.
- Proven leadership experience within a regulated financial services environment.
- Deep understanding of group life insurance products and member servicing.
- Experience with digital transformation in insurance.
- ALUCA accreditation or tertiary qualifications in business, insurance, or health sciences.
