Job Overview Join a high‑performing engineering consultancy in Brisbane where experienced Principals, involved directors, and a team of graduate and undergraduate engineers work side by side on real infrastructure projects that make an impact. A respected engineering consultancy is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its growing team. This role is hands‑on, collaborative, and varied – ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, mentoring others, and working on infrastructure that matters. You’ll work alongside two Principal Geotechnical Engineers and company directors who are actively involved, managing projects across transport, slope stability, and civil infrastructure with robust links to Traffic Management and Road Safety (TMR), councils, and mid‑tier contractors. What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading geotechnical design and investigation work across a range of civil and infrastructure projects.
- Supporting field work, design delivery, and contract documentation.
- Mentoring and guiding graduates and undergrads in their technical development.
- Working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams to solve real challenges.
- Participating in proposals and knowledge sharing with a national team. What You’ll Need
- Bachelor of Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) (or eligible within 1 month).
- 8+ years of geotechnical experience on civil and infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency with Plaxis, OpenGround berkata, AutoCAD, and other common tools.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
