Security Officer | Victoria Point Shopping Centre We are seeking Part-Time Retail Security Officers to join our team at Victoria Point Shopping Centre , a busy and community-focused retail destination. These roles offer consistent hours i n a fast-paced retail environment, ideal for professionals who take pride in customer service, safety, and presentation. Available Part-Time Rosters
- Monday: 0600 – 1500
- Thursday: 1400 – 2300
- Friday: 1400 – 2300
- Saturday: 1400 – 2300
- Thursday: 1600 – 2300
- Friday: 1600 – 2200
- Saturday: 1100 – 1700 What You’ll Do
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and ensure safety
- Patrol retail areas and monitor CCTV for suspicious activity
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and medical situations
- Apply First Aid and CPR when required
- Manage access to restricted areas and loading dock areas
- Handle conflicts calmly using de-escalation techniques
- Prepare accurate incident reports and security logs What We’re Looking For
- Current QLD Security Licence + Crowd Control Function
- Current First Aid & CPR certificates
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional presentation and high personal integrity
- Availability to work the specified roster
- Reliability, enthusiasm, and strong teamwork skills
- Retail or public-facing security experience (preferred) What We Offer
