Role Overview Altrad is supporting Arrow Energy’s Girrahween Project , a landmark expansion of the Surat Gas Project featuring a hybrid-powered facility integrating gas, solar, and battery storage. We are seeking skilled professionals, tradespeople, and local workers to join the core delivery team for this multi‑year development. Responsibilities Work on the Surat Basin site in Miles, QLD – DIDO from surrounding Queensland areas. The position follows a 14:7 roster, working 11 hours per day. You will be part of the delivery team ensuring quality workmanship and maintaining the highest safety standards. Remuneration Pay: $60 – $62 per hour plus penalty rates. Penalty rates are 1.5× for the first 2 hours and 2× thereafter after 7.6 hours Monday‑Friday and on Saturdays, 2× on Sundays, plus 2× pay where work starts before completing a 10‑hour minimum break. Meal and travel allowance applicable (travel allowance paid at $400 per calendar month). Outstanding performance may lead to continued growth opportunities throughout the duration of the project. Qualifications
- Queensland Electrical Work Licence (Unrestricted)
- Recognised Instrumentation Qualification (Cert III/IV Instrumentation & Control) – desirable
- White Card
- CPR & Low Voltage Rescue (LVR)
- EEHA certification (Ex01–Ex04) for hazardous areas – must be within a 5‑year validity through refresher
- Ability to pass a project‑specific pre‑employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
