Construction Manager (Brisbane City)

About the role CMC has been engaged to deliver the reconstruction works on Mt Spec Road, north of Townsville. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Manager will lead and coordinate all site construction activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with program, budget, quality, stakeholder, and contractual requirements. This project-based role's purpose is to provide support across Superintendents, Supervisors, Engineers, and subcontractors, ensuring methodology, sequencing, productivity, and workforce coordination are aligned to project objectives while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and operational performance. About you Since graduating, you’ve progressed through the civil infrastructure engineering pathway from Site Engineer to Project Engineer and now Senior Project Engineer. Along the way, you’ve built a strong career delivering complex infrastructure projects — and now it’s time to take the next step forward. Essential for this role will include
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
- Significant experience in delivering large and complex projects within the civil infrastructure sector, with experience in Slope Stabilisation being highly regarded, although not essential.
- Robust technical, commercial, and contractual acumen.
- Deep understanding of WHS, environmental, and quality compliance.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and negotiation skills.
- RPEQ, CPEng, or equivalent accreditation;
- Business or leadership qualifications;
- Experience with collaborative contracts such as ECI, D&C;, or Alliances;
- Familiarity with ISO-certified systems, financial management tools, and project controls platforms;
