Queensland Childcare Services (QCCS) is seeking passionate Casual Lead & Assistant Educators to join multiple QCCS Centres. Schedule: Monday – Friday, up to 38 hours per week Location: Shailer Park to Glass House Mountains Compensation: Up to $45/hr + Super + 15% retention (depending on position and qualification) Lead Educator Lead Educators are responsible for guiding a room with creativity and confidence, mentoring team members, and ensuring high-quality educational programs.
- Lead curriculum planning and program delivery for children aged 0–5 years
- Mentor and support Assistant Educators
- Foster inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environments
- Build solid partnerships with families and the wider community
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and centre standards Assistant Educator Provide high-quality care and education for children while supporting the room leader and contributing to a collaborative, engaging environment.
- Assist with daily routines and program implementation for children aged 0–5 years
- Support children’s learning and development through play-based activities
- Help maintain a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment
- Build positive relationships with children and families
- Work under the guidance of Lead Educators Qualifications & Attributes
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- Current Blue Card
- Leadership experience and strong curriculum knowledge
