- Prepare and cook food items as directed, including baking, pastry, and butchery tasks
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times
- Minimise food wastage through efficient preparation and storage practices
- Follow all standard operating procedures and WH&S; guidelines
- Support senior kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team environment
- Maintain qualified grooming and presentation standards
- Build positive relationships with colleagues across departments
- Stay informed about food products and culinary trends What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or hospitality environment preferred
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and WH&S; practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and follow instructions
- A proactive, team‑oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Formal culinary training or relevant certifications (desirable) How You Work
