- Paid Annual leave THE ROLE The Fresh Collective is seeking a passionate, experienced, and people-focused Event Operations Manager to lead and inspire our front‑of‑house service teams across our Brisbane venues. This leadership role is central to delivering premium guest experiences and driving operational excellence across multiple high‑profile sites. You will oversee day-to-day service delivery, mentor and develop on-site teams, and ensure our events and hospitality operations consistently reflect The Fresh Collective's commitment to quality, professionalism, and creativity. Responsibilities include:
- Deliver consistently exceptional customer experiences
- Report directly to the General Manager, Queensland
- Oversee all event service operations, including setup, execution, and pack down for both on‑site and off‑site events
- Lead and mentor a team of supervisors and service staff
- Deliver on‑the‑job training to all service colleagues
- Collaborate closely with clients and the culinary team to ensure seamless event delivery
- Maintain a five‑day rotating roster ESSENTIALS
- Over 3 years' experience managing front‑of‑house function & event food and beverage teams, directing all aspects of event delivery, staff development, and service execution.
- Skilled in a wide range of event service styles and recognised for maintaining exceptional service quality in high‑pressure hospitality settings.
- Exceptional attention to detail and quality.
- Strong commitment to accuracy and high standards.
- Highly effective communicator, skilled in both written and verbal interactions, with strong proficiency in administrative processes, documentation, and organisational support.
- Skilled in building team capability through coaching, structured training, and a supportive leadership style.
- Highly organised with robust administrative and time‑management skills.
- Current RSA and RMLV.
- Full‑time Australian working rights.
- Commitment to a long‑term role (minimum 2 years preferred).
