- Producing high‑quality research outputs aligned with discipline norms, including publication in reputable journals and presentation at conferences.
- Contributing to competitive research funding applications and collaborating with colleagues on joint research initiatives.
- Developing a coherent research programme and progressing knowledge translation, including pathways to impact and commercialisation where appropriate.
- Contributing to citizenship and service activities through collaboration, committee participation, and engagement with internal and external partners. About You
- Completion or near completion of a PhD in a relevant discipline area.
- An emerging research profile with evidence of publications in reputable refereed journals.
- Demonstrated experience presenting research at conferences or similar scholarly forums.
- Evidence of contributions to, or participation in, applications for external research funding.
- Relevant technical expertise, with essential experience in avian embryo work, live confocal microscopy, and electroporation techniques.
- Desirable knowledge of neural crest biology.
- Experience contributing to supervision, mentoring, or researcher development activities.
- Willingness to contribute to internal service roles and engage with external stakeholders as your career develops.
